The EAPA Award for Distinguished Scientific or Professional Contributions to Psychological Assessment originated in 1994. It is endowed with 2000 euros and is presented every 2 years to a European psychologist who has made a distinguished contribution to psychological assessment as a science or as a profession in the last 5 years. Peer-nominations are invited and have to include, apart from a short statement of reasons, a curriculum vitae and the list of most significant publications of the nominee. The EAPA Poster Prize is given every two years during the EAPA biennial conference. The EAPA will fund up to three prizes, 700 euros for the first prize, 500 euros for the second, and 300 euros for the third. The prize will be given to young researchers, preferrably to PhD students, encouraging them to participate and present their work in the EAPA conferences.
