The EAPA Award for Distinguished Scientific or Professional Contributions to Psychological Assessment originated in 1994. It is endowed with 2000 euros and is presented every 2 years to a European psychologist who has made a distinguished contribution to psychological assessment as a science or as a profession in the last 5 years. Peer-nominations are invited and have to include, apart from a short statement of reasons, a curriculum vitae and the list of most significant publications of the nominee. Applications should be sent, via e-mail, to the Secretary-General of EAPA Dr. Valentin Bucik at the e-mail address . The EAPA Award Committee, consisting of three members of EAPA appointed by the EC, will decide on the award winners. The award will be announced at the opening ceremony of the EAPA biennial conference.
The EAPA Poster Prize is given every two years during the EAPA biennial conference. The EAPA will fund up to three prizes, 700 euros for the first prize, 500 euros for the second, and 300 euros for the third. The prize will be given to young researchers, preferrably to PhD students, encouraging them to participate and present their work in the EAPA conferences. Young researchers from all areas of assessment are invited to apply. Applications should be sent, via e-mail, to the Secretary-General of EAPA Dr. Valentin Bucik at the e-mail address . The applications should be accompanied by a 500-word extended summary of the study to be presented at the conference and a very short CV of no more than 100 words. The EAPA Poster Prize Committee, consisting of three members of EAPA appointed by the EC, will decide on the prize winners during the conference based on the contribution of the study to psychological assessment and also on the quality of the poster presentation. The winners will be announced at the closing ceremony of the conference and the prizes will be given only to those who are present at the conference.
